#24 : OMD : If You Leave

Another great song written for another John Hughes film this one titled "Pretty in Pink" a Molly Ringwald film  now considered a cult classic. Reportedly If you leave was written under 24 hours (before the band OMD were to due to begin a tour) after Hughes rewrote the ending for the movie. The 1986 song became an international hit becoming the band's highest charting single in the US.
