I remember dressing up like Cindy during this time as a teen. I used to visit my best friend across the street, and we got a kick of Cindy's funky look. We loved her music and we danced a lot to this song. Girls just want to have fun has practically become one of the signature songs of the 80's. It's become Cindy's signature song as well.
