Day 16 - A song from a favorite movie

This song Puppet on a String is one of my favorite Elvis songs from his

movie Girl Happy. The song is from the same soundtrack and the movie of

course was a musical. One of Elvis dreams was to become a serious actor like

his idols Marlon Brando and James Dean, so he hated the musicals they stuck

him with, but the movies were mainly props to sell his sound tracks. The shame

of it this was that Elvis did have acting ability that went to waste in Hollywood,

but I loved his music, and I liked the songs in this soundtrack including this one.
