#8 - Prince and the Revolution - When Doves Cry

Prince and the Revolution where everywhere in 1984. Prince starred in his own

movie Purple Rain which has become a cult classic, but it's a decent movie. The

soundtrack of the same name or really the album that had hits like "Purple Rain"

When Doves Cry, and Lets Go Crazy, became very popular. The song I chose

When Doves cry unfortunately can't be heard here, because Prince has been

successfully removing his songs from You Tube for copyright issues. However the lyrics

re here so one can red them. This was a top favorite of the era. I went to see

Prince in concert a few years ago, and had a great time.
